Responding to refrigerator alarms needs to be a defined operational process, not a judgement call left to whichever staff member happens to see a notification first. For food businesses, pharmacies, medical practices and cold storage operators, an alarm is an early warning that temperature control may be at risk. It does not automatically mean stock is unsafe.
