The Melbourne Aquarium has installed the Sentry System to keep an eye on the Penguins water and room temperatures, with Penguins being being from a cold environment its important that they are kept in a climate controlled area, so this where Sentry steps in by checking the water and room temperatures and if something goes wrong the keepers are notified and action can be taken.
A famous new addition to the Penguin colony is Pesto the King Penguin weighing over twice the weight of his parents at 9 months old ( 22Kg )
